Health and Safety
At ACMS we recognise the duty of care we have to our employees and others who may be affected by our work activities.
We maintain an extensive health and safety system to ensure all aspects of our activities are controlled and legislative requirements are met. Our staff members receive comprehensive health and safety training to ensure the required competency for their job role.
This training includes:
- IOSH Managing Safely
- CITB Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
- CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
- Work at Height
- Asbestos Awareness
- Manual Handling
- First Aid
- All of our personnel who attend site have CSCS cards
We employ a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor to ensure health and safety standards are maintained and to provide assistance to our team.
We are proud to be Safecontractor, Constructionline & EXOR accredited.
ACMS is committed to conserving the environment and natural resources. It is our aim to continually improve our processes and services to reduce environmental impact and, where possible, improve the existing environment.
We operate an environmental management system, which meets the ISO 14,001 standard.
We recognise the impact the equipment we install has on environment and aim to select and install the most energy efficient solutions. We are company F Gas certificated and proud to REFCOM Elite accredited.
ACMS recognise the importance of high standards of quality in every aspect of the service it offers to clients, from project inception to final handover.
To ensure standards are maintained, the company operate a quality management system according to the ISO 9,001 standard.
