Siemens Magnet Technology (Eynsham)
OVERVIEW
Heating and ventilation design and installation to main factory producing magnets for MRI and CT scanners. Overhead cranes were continuously in operation and so construction of roof suspended scaffold platform was required to overcome this. This 26 week project also required a crane lift.
THE RESULT
Works included: • Removal of roof located heating plant (AHU’s & pipework) • VRV fan coil system (providing cooling and heating) installation to factory floor • Ventilation ductwork and VRV comfort cooling to workshops • Local electric heating to shipping area • BMS controls/ LV distribution
