OVERVIEW

We recently completed a chiller replacement at the Siemens Plc UK Head Office in Frimley.The photos show the new chiller being crane lifted to the roof top plant enclosure following removal of the original chiller that had failed.Siemens installed a temporary chiller that used the services of the old chiller - as the site was occupied we needed to ensure the temporary chiller remained operational during normal site occupancy hours and so were required to do all critical work at weekends. We also needed to ensure that any works carried out during normal working hours did not disturb or pose a risk to the site occupants.Because of the proximity to other buildings we also installed an acoustic enclosure around the new chiller to reduce noise pollution.
