OVERVIEW

HMP Leyhill is an open prison for men located in Gloucestershire.We are working on a project involving the refurbishment of the toilet & shower recesses in the 3no client blocks, specifically the heating, ventilation and domestic water services.The high security nature of the premises means we are required to adhere to the strict security requirements of the site, and also adhere to strict programs/ timetables to ensure minimal impact on the operation of the facility.

THE RESULT

DOMESTIC WATER SERVICES Supply and installation of: • Hot and cold water services to refurbished recesses additional central areas. • Above ground drainage • Sanitaryware Conversion of hot water supply system from vented to unvented.VENTILATION Supply and installation of ventilation systems: • To toilet/ shower recesses including ductwork & grilles. • To Laundry including AHU and associated ductwork & grilles.HEATING Supply and installation of: • Main flow & return LTHW pipework from the plantroom to the toilet & shower recesses and other location in the blocks. • Gas fired radiant heaters and new gas supplies serving the Laundry.
