OVERVIEW

As part of the refurbishment of these prestigious central London offices, we supplied and installed the mechanical services which included cooling, heating and ventilation, sanitaryware and DHCW & AGD.Taking into account the location and limited space, the condensers couldn’t be located on the roof and therefore basement located water cooled condensers were utilised. An associated flat type dry cooler was located on the roof and required a crane lift.The services were designed to be sympathetic to the building and its décor and included floor standing fan coil units and associated ductwork & grilles integrated into bookcases and cases.


THE RESULT

• Replacement of the existing shared gas fired boiler and unvented hot water storage cylinder serving the building and the adjacent property; • Replacement of existing flue fan dilution system; • Supply and installation of radiators and associated pipework and secondary circuit pumpsets;Supply and installation of: • Watercooled VRV Heat Recovery heating and cooling air conditioning system with local and central smart manager controller; • Associated flat type adiabatic dry cooler; • DX heat pump split AC system for Server Room cooling;• Mechanical heat recovery ventilation system to the office areas; • Extract ventilation system for the toilets and tea points; • Replacement of plantroom ventilation fans;• Incoming mains cold water supply; • Packaged cold water booster set and break tank located in the basement pavement vaults; • Packaged Cat 5 cold water booster pump set and break tank located in the basement plant room serving the adiabatic dry cooler on the roof, the condenser water circuit pressurisation unit, and the bin store wash down point; • Domestic hot & cold water systems to the Toilets and Tea Points, comprising pipework and valves to all sanitary fittings and sinks inclusive of connections of dishwashers as appropriate; • All above ground drainage installations as necessary to suit the arrangements of the sanitaryware and appliances in the Toilets and Tea Points, and all other items requiring a waste connection, including safety valve discharges from unvented water heaters and condense drain from VRV indoor units;• BMS • Supply and installation of sanitaryware;
