OVERVIEW

We recently carried out an air conditioning installation at a Central London office location, installing 11no R32 split systems in the premises.R32 has a much lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) than other refrigerant gases – 2/3 lower than the most commonly used. This is significant because it’s helping to reduce contributions to global warming.It also has other benefits including: - Higher energy efficiency - Lower volume of gas required in the system - Easier to re-use and recycle because it isn’t a blend of refrigerants.R32 refrigerant gas has benefits from a financial perspective also because as the higher GWP refrigerants are being phased down, their prices are increasing.

THE RESULT

Supply and installation of new: • Single split comfort cooling systems including controllers and temperature sensor • Condensate drainage system including condensate pumps for wall mounted units • Central controller within the plant room
